    To make the license server/ngrok thingy simple (Windows users only - sorry):

    a) download this:
    hxxps://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/wk123-misc/JBLocalServer.zip

    b) Extract the three files into a directory.

    c) Run StartJBLocalServer.exe .
    If you need to change the port, use "StartJBLocalServer.exe 1027" where 1027 is the port.
    If you don't want the message box at the end, use "StartJBLocalServer.exe 1027 b"

    StartJBLocalServer starts the lanyus license server 1.6, starts ngrok, and then retrieves and copies the ngrok url to the clipboard. Then you can just "paste" into the JetBrains License Server box and "Activate". Easy peasy.

    Note: the ngrok public url tunnel is only good for 8 hours at a shot if you don't get a free registration at the ngrok site and then "Connect Your Account" ( https://dashboard.ngrok.com/get-started ).

    Note2: Don't share the download link above. If it gets too many hits, I'll shut it down.

      Ran in Parallel Desktop (Windows) to get my Mac version activated.

    One alternative, if you have access to a SSH server connected to internet (linux server), is to use a remote tunnel:

    1.- Start License Server as usual (default host:port are "localhost:1017").
    2.- Open a SSH remote tunnel to the public server "ssh -R :localhost: " (ie: "ssh -R 1017:localhost:11017 public.server.com")
    3.- Open Intellij and set license server as "http://:" from point 2.

    PD: You may need on your must be over 1024 (bellow this number are restricted ports).

    PD: You may need <public_port> on your <public_server> must be over 1024 (bellow this number are restricted ports).

      是支持的吧，我在服务器上搭的可以正常使用包括IDEA，GogLand和CLion。

    1. download ngrox https://ngrok.com/download
    2. start license server (ex. sudo ./IntelliJIDEALicenseServer_linux_amd64)
    3. start ngrox by typing ngrox http 1027 ( license port)

    activate using https://[generated].ngrok.io on step 3.

    It return error "Segmentation fault"..

      现在jetbrains加入了一些检测机制，无法使用本机地址激活，改host之类都无效。可以把 license server装在其他机器或虚拟机上
